Importing Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 4K MP4 to Final Cut Pro

Well, had a play with Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 yesterday. Nice bright sharp view finder and the 400mm equivalent lens is pretty good. And the headline feature of the Panasonic FZ1000 is that it can shoot 4K video(in .MP4 format). As you know, one vast advantage of 4K video, even in a world of lower display resolution, is the ability to crop, stabilize, or adjust for rotation in post, without IQ loss.
