Just got a Sony 4K camcorder a7S that shoots in XAVC S. I am editing with Final Cut Pro 7. As far as I know, XVAC-S won’t be natively supported by FCP 7. To import Sony a7S XAVC S to FCP 7, I need to convert the files XAVC S to ProRes with least quality loss as possible.
