I’m having trouble making a backup of a couple of Disney movies. The Princess Diaries 2 and Chicken Little. I have tried DVD Shrink to no avail and also DVD FAB. I just started trying the different ways to make back up copies of my Disney DVD movies and convert them to video/audio files I want. Luckily, I’ve found a good solution to rip Disney movies to your desired format without any hassles.
As you see, Disney DVDs are copy-protected and the protection applied on these DVDs are even harder decrypt than the general commercial DVDs and the more recent released DVDs are, the more advanced protection they will adopt. The freeware like Handbrake can only deal with the non-protected DVDs and DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, although can decrypt protected DVDs, but they upgrade very slowly and can do nothing about the latest released DVDs. Also even some paid DVD ripping programs can’t successfully finish this task.

How to convert Disney DVD movies to any video/audio format on Mac (Mavericks)
Step 1. Import DVD movie
Insert the Disney disc into your computer’s hard drive and run the Mac Disney DVD Ripper. Then click “Load DVD” and import your DVD movies. You can also add DVD folders, ISO image files or IFO files to rip.
P.S. If you wanna copy/backup your Disney DVDs on Mac before converting them to a common video, there are two options for you.
Step 2. Choose output format
Since there are numerous video presets for devices like iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV, Samsung, etc., if you want to play the DVD movies on a device, scan to find the icon of the device and select it to get videos with optimized settings that are fit for your device as the below picture shows. Step 3. Start ripping Disney DVD on Mac
