Nokia Lumia 520 MKV format video not playing- Solution

I got the Nokia Lumia 520 and absolutely love it. Because of the limited memory available on this phone, certain applications and features will not be able to run; while, it’s still a nice and awesome phone for me. The only issue is that my Nokia Lumia 520 MKV format video not playing.

After read the detail specs of Lumia 520, I got know the Nokia Lumia 520 supported files types:

Audio Codecs: MP3, AMR-NB, WMA 10 Pro, GSM FR, WMA 9, AAC LC, AAC+/HEAAC, eAAC+/HEAACv2

Audio playback file formats: ASF, MP4, AAC, AMR, MP3, M4A, WMA, 3GP, 3G2

Video playback codecs: VC-1, Windows video, H.264/AVC, H.263, MPEG-4

Video playback file formats: MP4, ASF, WMV, AVI, 3GP, 3G2, M4V, MOV

So, it’s obvious that Nokia Lumia 520 can’t support MKV video files. Then, is there any way to play MKV on Lumia 520 this Windows 8 phone? 1. Load MKV movies
